2027 Validation Engineering Co-Op (Jan-July) (Undergraduate)

AbbVie seeks an undergraduate co-op student to support quality assurance validation activities at its Worcester, MA bioresearch facility for six months (January–July 2027). The role involves executing validation tasks, participating in system installations and modifications, and drafting compliance documentation under cGMP guidelines.

Responsibilities Execute tasks supporting the Validation Master Plan implementation Collaborate with engineering and quality control departments on system installations, modifications, and decommissioning Draft and execute validation plans and protocols consistent with cGMP requirements Support investigation of validation failures with thorough documentation and accuracy Requirements Currently enrolled undergraduate pursuing Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering or related field Must remain enrolled for at least one semester after co-op completion Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication ability Equipment-based or instrumentation project experience preferred
