Criminal Justice Case Management Team Lead

Position Summary Title: Criminal Justice Case Management Team Lead Pay: $25.76/hr | Location: Lakewood, CO | Hours: Full Time Intervention, Inc. is a Colorado non‑profit that provides services within the criminal justice system across the state, including sobriety monitoring, electronic monitoring, probation supervision and community corrections. Overview Assists in the day‑to‑day planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of Intervention programs, services, and employees. Provides case management for a reduced caseload of residential clients to help them successfully complete their program by applying appropriate behavioral change techniques while supervising and monitoring compliance according to company policies and procedures. Benefits Commitment to employee training and career growth Opportunity to gain experience in the criminal justice field Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement program with generous company match and immediate vesting Paid holiday, vacation and sick time Qualified employer under the public service student loan forgiveness program Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values and code of conduct of the company Reflect commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect Maintain confidentiality of client and company information Carry out duties in accordance with company values, policies, applicable laws and contractual obligations Assist in planning, development, implementation, monitoring and supervision of assigned program/office Train staff on a variety of topic areas Provide direction and guidance to other staff on routine and non‑routine assignments Complete caseload reviews and audits, monitor compliance with policies and standards Assist management in the hiring process as required Provide timely and accurate input and feedback to manager on staff performance, addressing issues as appropriate Assist in ensuring daily operations run efficiently, including scheduling staff, assigning work and providing coverage Complete administrative tasks such as compiling and entering data and creating reports Maintain accurate case files, both paper and electronic, for each client Enter client data into electronic databases accurately and timely Perform assessments and reassessments as required Develop individualized supervision case plans based on established protocols and client needs Explain program expectations and case plans to clients so they understand responsibilities Meet with clients to evaluate progress, administer rewards and sanctions per policy Review client documentation at each office visit Conduct orientation meetings with new clients and explain program rules and regulations Report program violations to referral agency per established policies Approve and track client access to community, ensuring safety Assist clients in developing personal budget plans, monitor balance and provide financial statements Review client financial obligations monthly to ensure restitution and child support payments meet court requirements Refer clients to community resources and maintain communication throughout service Collaborate with courts, probation and law enforcement agencies regarding client staffing and compliance Conduct home visits to verify residence as required, drive company van with another staff member Observe drug and alcohol tests as required Pull and enter UA results as needed Provide own transportation for required travel, even in adverse weather Testify in court regarding clients Attend required training and apply skills and knowledge Maintain regular and predictable attendance Minimum Qualifications Education and/or Experience Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, psychology, social work, counseling, social science, or a closely related field. Work experience in counseling, social work, law enforcement, corrections or community supervision that can substitute for a bachelor’s degree on a year‑for‑year basis. At least one year of related experience and/or training in criminal justice, community corrections or general corrections work with an offender population, including specialized populations. Qualifications Proficiency in general population case management Experience using Motivational Interviewing skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse constituents Ability to complete assessments, develop case plans and enter data into software and databases Leadership skills to motivate staff through company values Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Knowledge of cultural and socioeconomic characteristics relevant to the client population Teamworking and independent interaction with staff, stakeholders, and a diverse client base Must pass background check and be granted access to state criminal databases Colorado Residents You may redact age or date of birth information in any materials you submit.
