If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Permanent Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your financial acumen, attention to detail, and technical skills to make a significant impact on our organization. Responsibilities Manage both the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner. Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. Utilize Sage Intacct to manage financial processes, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in our general ledger. Assist with monthly close procedures, including the preparation of financial statements and reports. Provide support to the wider finance team as required, including assisting with audits, budget preparation, and financial analysis. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Accounting + Finance industry. Proven experience with AP, AR, Payroll, and journal entries. Proficiency in Sage Intacct or a similar financial management software. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work. Excellent numerical skills and the ability to interpret and analyze financial data. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing your workload effectively to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
