We have a great opportunity for a Full Time Housekeeper to join our team on our Healthcare Building.

$16.00 PER HOUR

Job Function/Responsibilities:

Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas and follows established schedules and methods.
Assists in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request.
May assist in laundry with washing/drying/folding/delivery of clothes/linens.
Works in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.
Maintains a safe work environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.
Other duties as assigned to ensure the cleanliness of the campus.

Qualifications:

Ability to get around the facility to carry out assignments.
Some up and down activity including reaching above and below shoulder height.
Occasionally lifting: 50 lbs.- 75 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Communicates orally and in writing with residents, families and co-workers.

Education/Experience:

A high school diploma is desirable, but not mandatory.
A good working knowledge (reading and speaking) of the English language is mandatory.
Housekeeping experience in a health care setting preferred.

Works in a safety conscious manner, which ensures that safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to others in the workplace.

Adheres to policy on Drug Free Workplace.
Interacts in a tactful diplomatic and humanistic manner with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers to provide a safe, efficient and therapeutically effective caring environment which insures the self-respect, personal dignity, rights and physical safety of each resident and facility guest.
Maintains a dependable attendance record and adheres to standards of cleanliness, grooming, hygiene and dress code.
