Now Hiring: Human Resources Generalist (Full-Time)

A well-established Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care Facility near Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare HR experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting, and possess a strong understanding of employment law, employee relations, recruiting, payroll, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities of HR Generalist

• Utilize and maintain the facility's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure an efficient hiring process.

• Prepare and issue offer letters within 24 hours of candidate selection.

• Assist with payroll review to ensure accuracy prior to processing.

• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania employment laws and HR best practices.

• Coordinate new hire orientation and employee onboarding.

• Assist with employee relations, coaching, corrective actions, and performance management.

• Manage Workers' Compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work processes.

• Participate in unemployment compensation hearings and maintain supporting documentation.

• Assist the facility during state and federal surveys by providing requested HR documentation and support.

• Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Plan and participate in weekly employee appreciation and engagement activities.

• Partner with department managers to support staffing initiatives and workforce planning.

• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, or healthcare setting.

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required.

• Knowledge of payroll processes and payroll auditing.

• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania employment laws and HR compliance.

• Experience with Workers' Compensation, unemployment hearings, employee relations, and regulatory surveys.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
