We are seeking a skilled OB Hospitalist with a strong commitment to excellence in women's health. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent clinical judgment and communication skills to coordinate care seamlessly with hospital staff and patients.


Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or in inpatient obstetrics
• Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to handle high-acuity cases
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and clinical demands

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish preferred)
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Previous work in hospitalist or locum tenens settings
• Additional certifications in neonatal resuscitation or advanced obstetrics care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, preferably in a hospitalist role
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one

Other Requirements:

• Must hold or acquire relevant state medical licenses and certifications
• Ability to travel to Baytown, TX, as needed
• Compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards
• Possession of current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications
