Contract | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Block scheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to change

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 42-bed ICU encompassing Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma units
• Manage complex patient populations including strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA, and major trauma/post-operative cases
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (Prismaflex / NxStage) , ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Float to other units as needed, excluding Behavioral Health and the Emergency Department (except when holding)
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York State RN license (all active RN licenses must be verified)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU accepted)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 4–5 years of ICU experience preferred
• Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred and will be prioritized during the review process
• Experience with IABP, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
