Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.Location: Rutland, VermontWe are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with urology experience to join a hospital-owned urology practice within a respected 144-bed community hospital. This role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and an excellent work-life balance.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient urology careConduct detailed histories and physical examinationsEvaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditionsOrder and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physiciansProvide patient education and counselingParticipate in first-call coverage as appropriateMaintain accurate and timely documentationContribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiativesQualificationsFor Nurse Practitioners:Master's degree in NursingNational certification through ANCC or equivalentRegistered with the Vermont State Board of NursingFor Physician Assistants:Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant programNCCPA certificationRegistered with the Vermont State Board of Medical PracticeFor All Candidates:Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience in urology requiredVermont licensure (or ability to obtain)Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC as applicable)Completion of patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint certification per department guidelinesStrong clinical assessment and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating within a team-based modelCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salarySigning bonusRelocation assistanceEducational loan assistanceMalpractice coverage providedAnnual CME funding403(b) retirement plan with employer matchComprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insuranceCombined Time Off (CTO)College Savings Account option
