Front Desk/HUC - Rehab Clinic - St. Louis Park, MN

Interim Healthcare is looking for caring individuals like you to join our growing team!  

As   a Front Desk Check In/HUC team member, you are an integral part of the patient experience in a clinic!  From scheduling appointments to greeting patients as they check in, you are often the first impression that patients have with the clinic so you set the tone and make a difference with each interaction.  Gain great experience and career advancement working in some of the leading healthcare facilities in the Twin Cites!

Pay: $30.74 to $32.86/ hour depending on experience.

Hours: Full time:  Shift times will very between 6:30am-5pm (ex. 630-3, 645-315, 730-4, 830-5). Weekend availability is needed as well in case coverage is needed. Will know in advance as the schedule for the following month is out two weeks in advance.

Location:  Need to be willing to work in Burnsville and St. Louis Park and potentially other locations.

  Front Desk/HUC Representative Responsibilities:

• Support many different departments including inpatient/outpatient
• Assisting patients when the arrive for their appointment
• Answering phone promptly
• Patient registration
• Accepting insurance co-pays
• Assisting with appointments, and referrals to specialty clinics
• Insurance and demographic information updates
• Administrative duties as needed
• Care Tech responsibilities including bringing patients to the restroom, wheelchair assists for the PT, room turnover, infection prevention, etc.

Qualifications :

• Medical Admin in a clinical setting
• Experience working as a HUC in a hospital setting is preferred 
• Epic experience preferred
• High School Diploma
• Good phone etiquette 
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Great attendance and punctuality!  
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
