Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) On-Call

Allina Health Restorative Suites, a Senior Care Campus managed by Cassia, is hiring a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our team in Plymouth, MN . This role involves transcription of provider and admission orders, maintaining accurate data, scheduling appointments and transportation, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure coordinated care. Position Type: On-Call Shifts Available (Including Rotating Holidays): Days 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Wage Range: $20 - $24.38 / hour depending on experience. Location: 2775 Campus Dr, Plymouth, MN 55441 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy. Schedule medical appointments and transportation. Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data. Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors. Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies. Complete other tasks as requested. Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Skills and Requirements 2+ years’ experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification desired. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not needed. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications. Time management skills for working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. PointClickCare experience preferred.
