## DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced **Registered Nurse Circulator** to join our Surgery Department. In this role, you will serve as a critical member of the surgical team, ensuring patient safety, managing the operating room environment, and advocating for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. The RN Circulator plays a vital role in collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgeries.#### **Key Responsibilities*** Assess and monitor patient needs before, during, and after surgery.* Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments and equipment.* Ensure a sterile environment is maintained, upholding all safety and infection control standards.* Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide intraoperative support.* Act as the patient's advocate throughout the surgical process.* Coordinate communication between the surgical team and other departments.* Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures.#### **Qualifications*** **Education**: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).* **Licensure**: Current Texas RN license required.* **Certifications**: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.* **Experience**: 2 years of experience in surgical services or the operating room is **required.*** **Skills**: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.* **On Call:** This position requires staff to remain within a 20 minute radius of Uvalde Memorial Hospital when scheduled On-Call.* Competitive compensation and excellent benefits package.* Supportive team environment and strong organizational leadership.* A chance to make a significant impact in a growing hospital serving a tight-knit community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
