Sales Specialist - Lead Sales Development

Sales Specialist – Bently Nevada & Cordant Solutions The Sales Specialist – Bently Nevada & Cordant Solutions supports the successful execution of sales activities by assisting senior sales leaders, engaging with customers, and helping drive opportunities from qualification to closure. This role builds foundational sales capabilities while developing strong technical understanding of condition monitoring systems and digital industrial software. Responsibilities Supporting the sale of Bently Nevada hardware, sensors, protection systems, and Cordant digital solutions. Building and maintaining relationships with end users, EPCs, system integrators, OEMs, and channel partners. Responding to customer inquiries and coordinating technical support with the technical account management team. Supporting regional and global project pursuits, including opportunity tracking, forecasting, and documentation. Assisting with project coordination across sales, engineering, supply chain, and services teams. Helping ensure accurate scope definition and smooth handover from sales to project execution teams. Maintaining accurate opportunity data in CRM tools. Supporting lead qualification, follow‑ups, and sales funnel reporting. Assisting with preparing customer proposals, quotations, and contractual documentation. Developing a strong understanding of Bently Nevada and Cordant solutions, value propositions, and target industries. Staying informed on customer applications, industry trends, and competitive offers. Participating in product training, customer demos, and internal sales development programs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in technical or industrial sales. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, matrix organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Preferred Qualifications Internship or co‑op experience in sales, engineering, project management, or industrial environments. Familiarity with industrial markets such as energy, oil & gas, power generation, mining, or manufacturing. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Basic understanding of sensors, vibration monitoring, or industrial software.
