Clinical Concierge LMRT- Arapaho Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Home Location: 6969 Arapaho rd, Dallas, Texas 75248 (This position will float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations) Works hours: Full‑Time, 3‑12‑hour shifts a week, 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM What you’ll need H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Completion of approved LMRT training program with proficiency in chest, extremities, skull and spine Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program (preferred) Successful completion of a CHCP externship at Breeze Urgent Care (preferred) 6 months previous x‑ray experience or completion of an internal THR LMRT training program (required) 6 months previous health‑care facility clinical experience as a LVN, MA, CNA, or other patient‑care role (preferred) 6 months previous experience as licensed LMRT (preferred) Strongly preferred experience includes: obtaining patient medical histories, administering medications per protocol, performing vital signs, assisting with basic clinical procedures, documenting patient encounters in the EMR and supporting patient flow in a clinical setting Previous experience with electronic health record and straight‑arm x‑ray; orthopedic experience (preferred) LMRT issued by the TMB with specialties: chest, extremities, skull, and spine (required) Medical Assistant Certification (preferred) BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support; maintained every 2 years and required prior to providing independent patient care (required within 30 days of hire) THR Urine Drug Collector training; maintained every 5 years and required prior to providing independent care (required within 30 days of hire) What you will do Guide consumers and their secondary guests through the entire urgent‑care visit, enhancing the consumer experience and maximizing throughput. Assist the provider with clinical care including laboratory testing, x‑ray examinations, and other duties. Perform patient registration, collection of payments, rooming, and patient discharge. Maintain competency and perform in all assigned positions on a rotating basis. Collect identification and payor‑related documentation, conduct registration using EPIC workflow. Measure and document vitals; communicate data to consumer and provider. Document chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications in EPIC. Perform and document laboratory testing and collections per provider orders (including venipuncture with competency check‑off). Administer and document oral and intramuscular medication; perform injections if a Medical Assistant with competency check‑off. Assist provider with procedures such as maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&D, application of ortho‑goods and ortho‑glass. Perform diagnostic x‑rays and document completion within licensed scope of practice as ordered and verified by provider. Ensure images and communication are transferred to radiology group for overread and that reports are in the medical record. Behave professionally and empathetically, building trust and comfort with consumers and secondary guests. Welcome consumers and secondary guests; inquire about purpose of visit and perform screening questions. Recognize and notify provider of emergent patients; perform BLS, provide oxygen, and assist with emergency care. Schedule appointments for primary‑care referrals for consumers. Maintain office supplies, medical supplies, and medications at appropriate par levels as assigned. Perform quality checks throughout the facility per established policies and procedures.
