Certifications: BLS, CRCST, or CBSPD

Must-Have:
1 year of SPD experience, utilizing ultrasonic, decontamination, assembly, VPRO

Description:
The unit is focused on the processing of surgical instruments and other medical supplies.
Common cases include orthopedic, spinal, robotic, general, urology, gynecology, and ENT.
Duties include assembly, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
Experience with common equipment for disinfection and supplies for sterilization is essential.
Staff orientation to the unit is provided to ensure readiness for responsibilities.
The scheduled shifts are four 10-hour evenings with occasional weekend call requirements.
Call requirements include 24-hour availability on weekends every eight weeks.
Response time for call is 30 minutes.
Self-scheduling is allowed.
The dress code entails wearing blue (ceil) scrubs.
No floating to other units is required.
The charting system used is EPIC.
This position does not require a BSN.
Candidates must have the required certifications for the role.
A commitment to maintaining a sterile environment is crucial for patient safety.
