Sterile Processing UnitUnit Notes - Hiring Process: Profile Review with MedSol Clinical, Interview with Unit Manager at facility - Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted - Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remoteSterile Processing Unit - MH Required Certifications BLS, CRCST or CBSPD Common Cases Ortho, Spine, Robot, General, Urology, Gyn, ENT Department covered/ #suits 9Experience or 'Must have' skills 1 year of SPD experience, utilizing ultrasonic, decon, assembly, VPRO Duties Assembly, decontamination, sterilization Common equipment to disinfect/common supplies to sterilize Typical OR instrumentationManager/Lead Tech Lynnette Burgard, Manager. Rosa and Brandon, SPD leadsShifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 4x10 shifts - evenings: 1300-2300 and days 0600-1630Weeknight/Call Requirements Call is 24 hours Saturday and Sunday every 8 weeksWeekend/Call Requirements Call is 24 hours Saturday and Sunday every 8 weeksHoliday/Call Requirements Self Scheduling What is call response time? 30 minutes Floating Requirements None Scrub Color/Dress Code blue (ceil) Unit/Department specific orientation We have the staff to orient to the unit
