Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment utilized in various operating room cases.

This position is located in City, State.

Perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments.

Utilize ultrasonics and various equipment such as VPRO during sterilization processes.

Handle typical OR instrumentation and common supplies needed for sterilization.

Maintain adherence to safety and infection control standards within the sterile processing unit.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sterile Processing.

Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from HSPA or CBSPD verification.

The Sterile Processing Department covers 9 operating rooms and serves a variety of surgical disciplines, including orthopedics, spine, robotics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and ENT.

Comprehensive orientation will be provided to all new staff members. It is essential for clinicians to be present in state for the duration of the orientation week, even if initial training modules are completed remotely.

Self-scheduling is available.

Staff dress code: Scrubs in blue (ceil).

No floating requirements.

Response time for call is 30 minutes.
