Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

A registered nurse (RN) is sought for a leadership role supporting the Emergency Department (ED), Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), and Extended Observation Beds (EOB). This position combines clinical expertise with operational coordination to enhance patient flow, departmental efficiency, and care quality in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support daily department operations and lead process improvement initiatives Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, patient-centered care Act as a clinical resource and role model for staff, fostering a safe environment Drive strategic priorities, promote operational excellence, and support quality and regulatory compliance Contribute to projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and experience Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Minimum of 2 years' clinical nursing experience Current New York State RN license, CPR certification, and professional specialty certification within 3 years (preferred) Previous leadership experience is advantageous Work Environment & Additional Details Work in clinical and office settings with frequent walking, standing, and lifting Operate in a fast-paced environment with exposure to disinfectants and PPE Serve patients of all ages with access to sensitive patient information #J-18808-Ljbffr
