Heavy Equipment Operator II We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator II to work at our landfill in Moody, AL. The role involves operating and maintaining heavy machinery to support the daily operations of a large recycling facility. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, front‑end loaders, and other machinery in compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance; maintain accurate records. Move and position raw materials and finished components using material‑handling equipment. Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment. Must be over 18 years of age. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Successful completion and passing of a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Preferred experience with dozer, compactor, excavator, and ADT equipment. Benefits Starting salary of $21+ per hour, dependent on experience. Stable hours for financial stability. Physical Demands Use of motor coordination and finger dexterity for most of the workday. Occasional handling of objects less than 30 pounds. Rare exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and exposure to toxic chemicals. Exposure to environmental elements such as dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes most of the workday.
