Summer Health Care Manager (RN) – $1,600/week Job Category: Overnight & Summer Camp Requisition Number: SUMME024538 Salary: $1,600 USD per year Full-Time On-site Location Camp Arnold, Salvation Army, Webster Road E, 33412 Webster Road E, Eatonville, WA 98318 Qualifications Licensed as an RN or LPN in Washington. Current certification in First‑Aid and CPR. Registered Nurse (preferred). Responsibilities General Duties: Attend and participate in evening programs and spiritual activities. Assist with "break day" duties as scheduled. Maintain cleanliness in personal grooming and living quarters. Assist with the cleanup of the entire camp at the end of each session and at summer conclusion. Complete a mid‑summer and end‑of‑summer brief. Assist with other duties as assigned. Specific Duties: Discuss health and safety procedures with staff during pre‑camp training. Report all admissions to the Health Center to the Program Director. Establish a sick‑call time with Camp Administrator, following meals. Guide counselors on reporting illnesses, injuries, unsafe conditions, and dietary concerns. Check living quarters and camp daily for health and safety. Administer medications and treatments according to physician's order; keep records of all treatments. Prepare and manage first‑aid kits for emergency use; instruct counselors in current first‑aid methods. Perform a physical check of campers upon arrival; review health records and discuss items with counselors. Handle drugs, medications, and first‑aid kits brought by campers or staff following physician instructions. Maintain daily treatment log and insurance forms as required. Produce a comprehensive report at camp close, including equipment inventory, requisitions, treatment records, admissions, doctor visits, recommendations, and insurance documentation. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone, desktop or laptop computer, and access and produce information. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to understand written information.
