Talent Acquisition Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting operations and supporting talent acquisition strategies that attract and retain top talent aligned with the Company’s business objectives. This role oversees day-to-day recruitment activities, partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership, and supports diversity recruitment, employer branding, onboarding, and talent pipeline initiatives. The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals while ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies. This position will report directly into the Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition & Diversity. Company Overview With roots dating to 1891 and 8,500+ employees, MYR Group Inc. Essential Functions Talent Acquisition Operations Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for professional, technical, craft, and corporate positions across multiple business units and geographic regions Manage daily recruitment operations, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring results Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and support workforce planning initiatives Support Talent Acquisition team members through coaching, training, performance management, and ongoing development Assist with hard-to-fill and critical hiring initiatives, including sourcing and candidate engagement strategies Promote consistent recruiting processes, candidate experience standards, and onboarding coordination across the organization Recruitment Programs & Pipeline Development Support and participate in recruitment programs focused on military hiring, emerging talent, internship programs, and employee referrals Participate in career fairs, industry events, school recruiting activities, and community outreach programs Build and maintain talent pipelines for key operational and leadership roles Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing Support recruitment marketing efforts including social media outreach, job board management, and employer branding initiatives Assist in maintaining recruiting content on the Careers website and recruitment platforms Partner with internal stakeholders to promote the Company’s culture, values, and employment opportunities Reporting & Analytics Track and analyze recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate flow, hiring trends, and recruitment effectiveness Prepare regular recruiting reports and provide insights to HR leadership Utilize data to identify process improvements and support operational decision-making Systems, Compliance & Process Improvement Support administration and effective use of applicant tracking systems, onboarding platforms, and recruiting technologies Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations including OFCCP, EEOC, and AAP requirements Assist with recruitment-related audits, reporting, and documentation requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruiting processes and candidate experience Regular and predictable attendance Other duties as assigned Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other professional standards

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications Experience leading or mentoring recruiting team members Minimum 5–7 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition required Minimum 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience supporting multi-state recruiting operations preferred Experience with diversity recruitment initiatives and talent pipeline development preferred Working knowledge of OFCCP, EEOC, and AAP compliance requirements preferred Experience using applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications required Experience in the construction, energy, utility, or skilled trades industry highly preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong full-cycle recruiting and sourcing experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and employment regulations Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs Demonstrated ability to analyze recruiting data and identify process improvements Ability to travel up to 15–20% as needed

Compensation & Benefits Salary $89,000-$120,000 / year Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
