Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional – Alexandria, LA The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for promoting Pfizer’s vaccines portfolio across customers and channels, launching new products, and managing business relationships in the assigned territory. This role requires regular in‑field customer engagement as well as virtual interactions. Responsibilities Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives. Engage customers face‑to‑face and virtually, building rapport and leveraging digital and virtual tools. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, identifying and executing engagement strategies to maximize impact. Utilize internal reports and analytics to identify and pursue strategic business opportunities. Apply approved product and disease‑state information to support customer needs. Demonstrate market knowledge, uncovering barriers and drivers across all relevant channels (public health, private market, retail). Collaborate compliantly with cross‑functional colleagues, including Field Medical and Account Management. Complete all administrative expectations on time, such as entering customer calls, submitting expenses, and responding to requests from leadership and internal partners. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following, OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, OR high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience: Professional sales or promotional activity, small‑business ownership, marketing, customer service, or account management. Relevant healthcare or scientific roles (e.g., RN, pharmacist, PT, OT). Education roles such as teacher or principal. Full‑time military experience. Must reside within 25 miles of the territory border. Valid U.S. driver’s license with a compliant driving record; recent DUI/DWI disqualifies the applicant. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or medical‑related marketing. Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management, communications, teamwork, leadership, and accountability. Experience in the vaccines therapeutic area and products. Knowledge of the posted territory’s customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs and institutions). Residency within the territory boundaries. Other Job Details Territory Includes: Monroe, LA. Annual base salary range: $76,000 – $199,600. The role is initially a salary non‑exempt employee eligible for overtime; upon training certification, the employee becomes exempt. Additional quarterly sales incentive bonus is available.
