Machine Operator (**Must have experience from Manufacturing industry**)

Pay: $26/hr
Shift : 1st or Weekend
Location: North Tulsa, OK

A leading manufacturing company in North Tulsa is seeking an experienced and dependable Plasma Machine Operator to join our production team. This position is ideal for candidates with machine operation experience in a fabrication or metal manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC plasma cutting machines and other fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings to ensure accurate cuts and production specifications.
• Perform machine startup procedures and routine operational checks.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished materials for accuracy and quality.
• Load and unload steel and other materials onto production equipment.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials safely throughout the facility.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating plasma tables, CNC equipment, or other manufacturing machinery preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and production schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards.

Working Conditions

• Safety-sensitive position.
• Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment.
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, sparks, and varying temperatures.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
