Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Latham, NY and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate is dependable and presentable, the face of the IT department. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of quarterly extensions. Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot hardware, software, wireless, and connectivity issues Image machines Perform standard hardware replacement Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience Basic network background Proficient in Win11, laptops, and desktops Basic Apple knowledge Supporting manufacturing division and sales Strong customer soft skills Certifications are preferred, but not required Manufacturing experience is highly desired and ability to work with tools Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
