Overview Backfill - Contract - RN - Labor and Delivery/ OB ED – #26-22510 Location: North Austin Medical Center, 4th floor, Building: North Austin Medical Center, Austin, TX Shift: Day shift, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). 13-week contract starting 8/10/2026. Compensation: $2,131/week. RN - Labor and Delivery with $1,771 weekly stipends, $10/hour, and $360 weekly base pay. Onsite contract roles. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to obstetric patients in Labor and Delivery and OB ED settings. Coordinate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Follow unit protocols and provide continuous fetal monitoring when required. Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing care as assigned. Unit Information Facility: North Austin Medical Center Department: Labor and Delivery (Discipline: 70881) Type of unit: Level IV, high-volume with high acuity patients Floor: 4th floor EMR: Meditech Equipment: Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US Permanent positions on unit available: Yes Typical Hiring Profile Skill Set: Experienced travel RNs and local CNAs/sitters Must have: EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, C-section circulation 2+ years nursing experience in Labor & Delivery Preferred / Nice to Have Internal monitor placement competency Previous assignment with the employer Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit Typical Procedures SVD, cerclages, C-sections, TOLAC Dress Code Scrub color: Navy blue Posters/attire: Solid blue/black or grey sweatshirts only; T-shirts not acceptable Call Requirements: No call required. Weekends: Alternating.
