We are expanding our construction inspection team and seeking an Electrical Construction Inspector / Senior Inspector to support our growing portfolio of airport and infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Perform on-site electrical construction inspections for airport and public infrastructure projects.
• Observe and document electrical installations for conformance with approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
• Inspect airfield lighting, guidance signs, underground electrical distribution, duct banks, electrical vaults, and power distribution equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors, airport representatives, project managers, and design engineers.
• Prepare accurate, timely daily construction inspection reports, including photographic documentation and construction progress records.
• Identify construction deficiencies and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, verify installed quantities, and assist with construction documentation.
• Witness electrical testing, equipment startup, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in construction meetings and project closeout activities.

For senior-level candidates: Additional opportunities may include leading inspection assignments, mentoring junior inspectors, coordinating multiple projects, and contributing to the continued growth of our construction inspection department.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in electrical construction, electrical inspection, construction management, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of electrical installation practices and the National Electrical Code.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare professional field reports using Microsoft Office, PDF software, and digital photo documentation.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and clients.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project locations throughout Arizona and neighboring states.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with airport electrical construction, airfield lighting, or FAA construction specifications.
• Experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Foreman, Construction Inspector, Resident Engineer, or Construction Manager.
• Experience with public works or federally funded infrastructure projects.
• Relevant electrical trade certifications, technical education, or engineering credentials.

An engineering degree or PE license is not required. We value practical electrical construction experience and sound technical judgment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly compensation: $31–$55 per hour , depending on qualifications and experience.
• Overtime compensation in accordance with applicable law.
