TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Garfield Heights, Ohio, 44125!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission; compact state licenses accepted
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required (no pending expirations)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• Must achieve an acceptable score on both the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
• No open background or license hits will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single location preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
