Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification (must be current with nothing pending)
Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification (must be current with nothing pending)
Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
Must achieve an acceptable score on both ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single location
• Experience in a charge RN or supervisory capacity within the specialty
