Our Customer Service Team is an important part of the customer experience here at S&W Foods! In this role, you will connect with customers in person, by phone, and by email while coordinating with teams across the company to make sure orders, questions, and service needs are handled accurately and on time. What You'll Own as a Customer Service Representative at S&W Foods

You will be a key point of contact for our customers and an essential part of keeping daily service and order activity moving smoothly. You will combine responsive communication, accurate order processing, recordkeeping, and cross-functional support to help create a positive customer experience.

• Customer Communication & Service: Portray a positive company image and provide professional, friendly service in person, by phone, and by email. Answer and transfer calls, take messages, actively listen to customer needs, and route product or service questions to the appropriate team member when needed.

• Order Processing & Follow-Through: Process orders received by mail, telephone, fax, email, or through other employees. Provide customers with pricing, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and other needed information, then follow up on orders to help ensure delivery by the specified dates.

• Issue Resolution: Respond to customer questions and concerns with professionalism and a calm demeanor. Resolve issues within your ability and promptly involve the appropriate person when additional support is needed.

• Administrative Support & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate company-required records, assist colleagues and other employees with administrative duties, and complete other duties as assigned.

To Achieve This, You Will Most Likely Have

• Customer Service Experience: A high school diploma or GED plus 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior customer service experience is expected.

• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers and coworkers.

• Organization & Attention to Detail: The ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and follow through on customer and order details.

• Professional Problem-Solving: The ability to address customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor, including knowing when to direct an issue to the appropriate person.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite or related software to support customer service and administrative responsibilities.

Bonus Skills!

If you have previous experience supporting customers in a distribution, foodservice, order-entry, or other fast-paced service environment, that experience can help you get up to speed quickly!

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. You must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
