Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager - Day Shift

Job Summary:

Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as a Unit Manager, working on our day shift. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, while also overseeing the daily operations of our unit and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans

• Serve as a role model and mentor to interdisciplinary team members, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion

• Oversee daily unit operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources and personnel

• Develop and implement effective policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care and safety

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient records, incident reports, and medication administration records

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety, infection prevention, and control

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania

• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse, with experience in a long-term care setting preferred

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
