Medical Technologist - Medical Technologist Weekly Pay $1822 - $2022 Shift Shift 8 Hour Evening Shifts Per Week 5 Scheduled Hours 40 Start Date 07/13/2026 End Date 10/17/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Microbiology and Chemistry Expertise Schedule This position requires a mid shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) with strong experience in Microbiology and Chemistry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with positive blood cultures and spinal fluid gram stains, with molecular testing experience being a plus. Familiarity with Roche Chemistry analyzers or middleware is also beneficial. Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS), particularly Soft and SoftMIC, will make a candidate stand out. Responsibilities Perform and analyze tests in Microbiology and Chemistry. Handle positive blood culture and spinal fluid gram stains with expertise. Conduct molecular testing as needed. Utilize Roche Chemistry analyzers or middleware efficiently. Manage and navigate laboratory information systems, specifically Soft and SoftMIC. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MLS. ASCP certification is required. BLS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
