• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate individuals' unique trauma histories and symptomatology.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ needs, focusing on trauma recovery, self-efficacy, and resilience-building.

• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting techniques based on client progress.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where clients can share experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote collaborative healing.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated care approach.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring immediate assistance and safety for clients.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to support ongoing recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional training to remain current with trauma treatment best practices.
\n
• Implement feedback from patient outcomes and evidence-based practices to continuously enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

The primary focus of this role will be on working with individuals who are trauma survivors, particularly those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As part of our commitment to trauma-informed care, you will be equipped with the tools to help clients navigate their recovery journey while adjusting to their unique circumstances.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-informed therapy practices, including familiarity with related modalities.
\n
• Outstanding communication skills, paired with the ability to create a safe space for clients to explore sensitive topics.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote communication technologies.
\n
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote, multidisciplinary team.
\n
• Empathy and resilience in navigating the complexities of mental health therapy.
\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience as a mental health provider, specifically focused on trauma-related therapies.
\n
• Demonstrated success in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and building strong rapport with clients.
\n
• Experience in crisis intervention and managing acute episodes related to trauma.
\n
