Position Summary:

Operate powered forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks.

Position Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks of incoming shipments
• Verify incoming shipments using packing slips
• Breakdown and organize incoming shipments by part# and box count
• Deliver boxes/pallets/raw material to designated areas
• Excellent forklift skills/safety required
• Perform duties including emptying chip totes, unloading/loading chip bins for Sims Recycling.
• Additional duties as directed.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Certified to operate forklift/reach truck at current or previous company.
• Detail oriented and focused.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

HS diploma or equivalent

Experience:

2+ years of previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Production/Manufacturing environment

Lift up to 20 lbs. frequently.

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
