Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct standard and specialized clinical laboratory procedures-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Assess analytical results for reliability, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Accurately document all procedures, mentor new team members or interns, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy and secure working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or relevant allied health degree paired with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment duration.
