• Provide assistance with specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
