Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical tests-chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for their accuracy, troubleshoot anomalies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collections and prepare specimens for analysis when required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, orient new team members or students, and ensure lab quality standards are met.
• Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuously maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
