Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid and current School Psychologist certification or license
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Previous experience working in a school setting providing psychological services preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes and Response to Intervention (RTI)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Ability to administer, score, and interpret a variety of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments
• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to plan and implement effective interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and monitor IEPs
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts when needed
• Provide individual or small group counseling as directed by student need and team input
• Compile detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Assist with staff development and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate
