This contract position offers both part-time and full-time schedules with a minimum commitment of 4 days per week during the 2026-2027 academic year. You’ll contribute in a dynamic educational setting, utilizing your school-based occupational therapy knowledge to make a positive impact every day.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Occupational Therapist Certification required
• Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
• Proficiency in conducting student evaluations and writing/implementing IEPs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs through evaluations and ongoing observation
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy interventions
• Adapt sensory, motor, and functional activities to support student participation
• Maintain professional and timely communication with educational teams and families
• Ensure compliance with legal and school-based documentation requirements
• Serve a diverse caseload of K-12 students, tailoring interventions as appropriate
