Applicants will be reviewed weekly starting **07/03/2025**.\*\*\*Uncertified Medical Assistants will start 3% below the beginning wage listed.\*\*\*The **Certified Medical Assistant - KSA Vietnamese** provides clinical support to the patient care team directed towards the prevention of disease and promotion of health using professional clinical support for quality patient care. This position works as part of a care delivery team and works closely with physicians and mid-level providers and other team members to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):** This position requires the ability to speak, read and write fluently in Vietnamese and English (language testing may be required). As the**Certified Medical Assistant - KSA Vietnamese** you will: * Provide Patient follow-up (i.e.: after visit instructions, setting appointments, patient education, communicate normal lab results and reminder phone calls)* Support back office clinic flow and time management for providers.* Prepare patients for exams and procedures.* Review immunizations, forecast and administer immunizations for clients of all ages.* Perform medical treatments such as simple would care, ear irrigations, suture removal and fluoride treatments.* Ensure the exam room is stocked, cleaned and ready for use.* Provide back-up lab duties including phlebotomy and processing labs.* Complete assigned Quality Control/Assurance activities* Provide back-up to the preventative MA.**Multnomah County offers an exceptional benefits package**, including employer-funded retirement savings; health and dental insurance at very low cost to full-time employees and their dependents; paid parental leave; wellness programs; a focus on work-life balance; and much more. For details about how we typically screen applications, review our overview of the selection process page.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):****Education:** Requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program.**Certification:** Certification through a nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification program, such as **AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or CCMA**. Candidates hired will be expected to become certified after hire.**\*\*\*If you do not have the certification you must have a diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant training program\*\*\*****Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):** This position requires the ability to speak, read and write fluently in Vietnamese and English (language testing may be required). **Other:*** **CPR certification is required** (valid CPR certification must be provided upon hire)* Depending upon assignment, candidates may be required to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.*Transferable skills: Your transferable skills are any skills you have gained through education, work experience (including the military) or life experience that are relevant for this position.
