Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Lincoln NE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location you will manage entry points verify credentials issue badges monitor access activity and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to document security-related activity provide outstanding customer service and help deter incidents through a visible presence. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures policies and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and authorization maintain visitor and contractor logs and support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles as directed document deliveries and shipments and report access discrepancies or unusual activity to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points parking areas exterior perimeter and designated facility areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
