As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming presence for tenants, visitors, and vendors while supporting security-related operations. You will manage access control, monitor alarm panels, respond to inquiries, and communicate professionally to help maintain an orderly environment. - Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems; report unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established escalation procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
