Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Alarm Monitoring Patrol in LINCOLN, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as directed, and helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Document incidents, patrol activities, and notable observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
