Logistics Analyst - Import/Export

Our client is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our client located in St. Louis, MO! The Logistics Analyst will report onsite in a hybrid model and we are only seeking local candidates at this time. You will ensure import and export operations to meet compliance and customs requirements. Recent graduates are welcome to apply! Core Responsibilities Coordinate shipments, including scheduling deliveries and managing delivery appointments Negotiate freight rates from brokers and arrange shipments to meet delivery timelines and cost objectives Create invoices for supplier payments and generate invoices and export documentation to bill customers accurately and on time Support the management of inventory, including tracking movements, confirming quantities, and ensuring accurate system updates Communicate daily with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to ensure shipments are on track Troubleshoot delivery challenges and elevate issues appropriately Maintain organized and accurate documentation for shipments, invoices, and freight arrangements Support internal teams with logistics updates and inventory visibility Contribute to a culture of precision, collaboration and continuous improvement Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight forwarding or related fields is preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and brokers Proficiency in Excel Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, problem solve and follow tasks through to completion Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Bachelor’s Degree preferred Knowledge of export logistics terminology (Vessel Bookings / INCO terms) and familiarity with international shipping documents a plus Attention to Detail & Accuracy Ownership & Problem Solving Communication & Coordination Location: St. Louis, MO Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $59,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
