Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Intake Clerk in East Point, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support visitors and team members with professionalism and clear communication. This role offers the chance to stay visible, assist with routine patrols, and help discourage security-related incidents while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in support of security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Assist with traffic flow, employee and contractor access, and vehicle screening processes to support orderly operations at a busy retail distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
