Quality Specialist - HCBS provider reviewer

Human service professionals are encouraged to consider a new full-time Quality Specialist position with Liberty Healthcare. Role Overview As a Quality Specialist, you will be an active contributor to a large-scale program that enriches the lives of older adults and people living with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Drive to provider locations throughout the greater region. Conduct critical incident management and mortality reviews onsite at provider locations. Evaluate providers’ services in relation to best practices in person-centered care. Identify provider strengths and opportunities for quality improvement. Write comprehensive summary reports within limited timeframes. This is a hybrid position requiring approximately 90% of each workweek spent on administrative work and report writing in the home office, and approximately 10% traveling throughout the greater region and leading onsite meetings at provider locations. Compensation & Benefits Annual compensation of $55,990 (paid $26.92 per hour). Reimbursement for work‑related mileage. Laptop and mobile phone. Full details on the benefits plan are available at Qualifications At least three years of professional experience in service to older adults and/or people living with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of person-centered practices and quality assurance principles. Ability to work well with a high degree of autonomy. Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills. Ability to develop rapport with a wide array of personalities and maintain composure during challenging situations. Bachelor’s degree ideally in Social Work, Special Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other social services, healthcare, or human services field. The requirement for a bachelor’s degree may be waived for candidates with at least five years of professional experience in service to older adults and/or people living with developmental disabilities. Reliability: Must have a reliable vehicle and current auto insurance, as the position requires travel throughout the region. Relevant work experience includes Social Worker, Investigator, Service Coordinator, Case Manager, Case Worker, Program Specialist, Human Services Specialist, Care Navigator, Client Advocate, Detective, law enforcement professional, or Quality Specialist / Quality Improvement professional.
