Key Objectives

Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and support employee inquiries.
Responsibilities

Prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for hospital and healthcare staff.
Verify timesheets, attendance records, and leave requests to ensure accurate pay.
Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime pay according to company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain and update payroll files, employee data, and payroll reports.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, benefits deductions, and other statutory requirements.
Respond promptly to payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with HR and accounting departments to support audits and reporting.
Assist in the preparation of payroll tax filings and year-end reports.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in accounting or payroll preferred.
Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar payroll processing role.
Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
