About the Role:
Looking for a restaurant job that allows you to be home in the evenings with a flexible schedule?
Join our dynamic team at R & R Breakfast Spot as a Breakfast Line Cook! We are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and love creating delicious breakfast dishes that keep our customers coming back for more.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
- Adapt to changing menus and special requests from customers.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Passion for breakfast foods and culinary creativity.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
