About Us

Stronghold Foundations is a foundation repair and underpinning contractor serving homeowners, engineers, and commercial clients across Northern California. We do foundation repair and replacement, pile underpinning, underfloor repair, basement encapsulation, and new foundations. We're growing, and we need a strong leader to help run our field operations.

The Role

You'll own the day-to-day operation of our field crews. Your job is to make sure every project is scheduled, staffed, supplied, built right, and closed out on time and on budget. You'll connect sales, the office, our crews, and our customers and engineers.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage the weekly schedule for multiple crews and job sites
• Lead, train, and hold accountable our Crew Leads and Crew Members, and help hire new crew
• Run job sites, including pre-job walks, layout, quality control, and final walkthroughs
• Coordinate permits, city inspections, special inspections, and engineer site visits
• Order materials, schedule equipment, and keep trucks and equipment maintained
• Track labor hours and materials against the estimate and flag problems early
• Enforce our safety program and run regular tailgate meetings
• Keep homeowners, general contractors, and engineers updated on progress, and handle change orders
• Work with sales to review scope before a job starts so crews show up with the right plan

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in construction, including at least 2 years as a foreman, superintendent, or operations lead
• Foundation, concrete, underpinning, or structural experience strongly preferred
• Able to read structural plans and engineer's details
• Familiar with the permitting and inspection process in Northern California
• Experience running multiple crews and jobs at the same time
• Organized and comfortable using a phone, computer, and scheduling or job-management software
• Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must pass a drug test
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• OSHA 30 is a plus
