Overview Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel assignment in Helena, Montana. Start date July 5, 2026. Duration 13 weeks. Weekly pay between $2,047 and $2,181, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 schedule. Setting: hospital ICU. Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,047–$2,181 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day shifts, 12x3 Start date: July 5, 2026 Work setting: hospital ICU in Helena, MT Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care for critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring, medication administration, and titration of therapies Manage complex presentations such as respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, OD/Detox, CHF, and complex post‑op surgical cases Perform continuous assessment, document patient status, and elevate changes to the multidisciplinary team; utilize Epic EMR for charting and orders Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other team members to coordinate patient care plans Float to medical‑surgical units as needed; participate in orientation and precepting of new graduate RNs as required Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes Requirements Active Montana license or compact license and verification on file Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS on profile Minimum 3 years of ICU experience Prior travel nursing experience Epic EMR experience Ability to work in a high‑acuity ICU environment and float to MS units as needed Residency within 200 miles of the assignment location (per policy) Benefits and Support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing and onboarding 24/7 recruiter and travel support Housing assistance Nationwide assignments Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
