Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Morning Shift in Baltimore, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related situations, including assisting with the restraint of individuals when appropriate, while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented culture grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and compliance with facility access requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
