Join our team and be part of a legacy that continues to attract admirers from around the world.Primary ResponsibilitiesIncluding but not limited to:Provide valet services to all guests of The Chanler at Cliff WalkRetrieve and transport guest luggageRespond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient mannerOrganize and store luggageEnsure that the management/leadership team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departmentsAssist with room moves, special luggage deliveries, and/or pulls, and attend to the main lobby and front door as neededPiloting the property-designated vehicles to and from destinations within the Newport area as neededFull list of responsibilities upon request*full list of responsibilities upon request*RequirementsMust be available for working a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have 3 years of driving experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving recordAbility to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your departmentPrevious hotel, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferredAbility to drive an automobile with a standard (5/6 speed) transmissionAbility to prioritize, organize, and follow upAbility to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of timeMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 60 pounds without assistanceRequires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuityStand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shiftReach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stoopingWhat We OfferCompetitive Wages401KPaid VacationsStaff Housing **Medical, Vision, Dental, and LifeSeasonal Staff MealFree Parking and UniformsOpportunities for career advancementReferral Bonus
